Truth prevails Raise voice

After receiving an offer of £60k to feature on Celeb Go Dating, Jacques O’Neill promises to wait until Paige leaves Love Island.

DEPARTED islander Jacques O’Neill has been approached by Celebs Go Dating bosses after leaving the Love Island villa last week.

But the lad is said to have turned down their £60,000 offer – because he wants to wait for villa lover Paige Thorne.

Jacques has admitted he needs to “work on himself” after being branded a “bully” and a “gaslighter”.

And a source said that execs at the E4 dating show think their experts Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson could prove really valuable guides for the troubled rugby lad.

A source said: “It’s very early days and bookers for Celebs Go Dating have only really just got started.

“But an Islander always makes for a great signing and Jacques is a real stand-out, particularly because he’s already shown that he’s willing to put the work in and really change.

“That’ll make him a really credible candidate for the agency’s help, never mind be someone that fans would tune in for.

“But Jacques wants to wait for Paige so it may well be too late by the time she emerges.”

Paige, 24, has grown close to Adam Collard, 26, since Jacques left the villa last week.

Jacques has revealed that he watched some episodes of the ITV2 show, after noting viewers’ concern that some of his behaviour was “toxic”.

Ofcom received complaints over the way he had spoken to Paige.

One departed Islander, Remi Lambert, 22, claimed that Jacques bullied him.

Writing on Instagram, Jacques said: “I understand… I’ve got a lot of work to do for myself to become a better person.

“I sometimes couldn’t watch how I was speaking and acting in certain situations but I’m actually glad I watched it because now it’s really opened my eyes up and it’s time to work.”
