On Friday, St. Peter’s Church in Shaftesbury, Dorset, hosted the funeral service of veteran radio DJ Johnnie Walker. Tiggy Walker, Johnnie’s wife, expressed her profound gratitude for the service, saying they “couldn’t have asked for better” and believed her husband “loved” it.

Remembering Johnnie Walker
He passed away in December at the age of 79 after being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. His wife, Tiggy, cared for him during his illness and helped produce his radio show from home. She fondly remembered him as remaining his “charming, humorous self to the end.”
