Rylan Clark’s boozy birthday antics made headlines last week after the newly single star threw a boozy bash at his Essex home.
One person on the guestlist was Lizzie Cundy – who had so much fun partying with the telly favourite that she failed to go home and spent the night sleeping at Rylan’s home in her ball gown.
The morning after Rylan was shocked to find Lizzie still in his plush pad and took to social media to document the hilarious moment.
And as she walked the red carpet at the Together For Short Lives Ball on Tuesday evening, the former wife of ex-footballer Jason Cundy lifted the lid on the wild night and how she plans to spend Christmas with generous host Rylan.
Sharing on the house party, Lizzie told the Mirror: “It was great. I was the guest that didn’t leave. I’m going there for Christmas!”
Poking fun at her outstaying her welcome, she added: “I’m like the auntie that won’t ever leave.”
Admitting that Rylan was surprised to discover she’d spent the night after the bash, the 53-year-old added: “He’s the most amazing host, but I don’t think he wanted me to stay. Did you see his face? And then I came down to breakfast in my ballgown – it was great.”
Rylan celebrated his birthday in style with a massive house party filled with family and friends and the celebrations cAme after a difficult few months for Rylan, who took time away from his hosting duties, including his BBC Radio 2 Show, in order to focus on his mental health.
Earlier this year, Rylan confirmed that he had split from his husband of six years, Dan Neal.
BBC bosses were said to have told Rylan he can take a year off if needs to as the star continues to work through his marriage break down.
It was claimed by The Sun that Rylan’s coworkers played music to give him a moment to compose himself following a recent ‘breakdown’ on the show.
