Reuben Owen, who currently appears in Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm, is leaving his family’s Ravenseat Farm He’s following his own path in the world of agriculture and on television at just 20 years old.
From Childhood to Stardom
Reuben lived with his parents Amanda and Clive Owen and eight siblings at Ravenseat Farm in North Yorkshire. The Yorkshire shepherdess gave fans a peek into her busy family life at Ravenseat on hit Channel 5 show, Our Yorkshire Farm.
Venturing Beyond Ravenseat
Speaking on the most recent episode of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, Reuben opened up about his plans after Ravenseat. The family bought a neighbouring property known as Anty John’s — a cottage with a barn and 40 acres. In comments made to the Sun, Amanda Owen expressed hopes that some kids would eventually relocate there. He said: “Apart from Ravenseat, it’s probably one of the only places I’d want to live happy in.”
Career Developments
With a passion for machinery and business, Reuben has now started his own Channel 5 series, ‘Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales Hi. Reuben along with his friend Tommy McWhirter and girlfriend Sarah Dow work on different passions around the Yorkshire Dales in the show. The series aired starting April 25, 2024, and has received positive reception for its first season.
Personal Life
But Reuben has been dating gyms mastermind Sarah Dow since December 2021. But even after shooting “Life in the Dales” together, they chose to separate. Reuben explained: “Me and Sarah were an item; we’re not now but we’re very good friends” Sarah works on her own projects, but sometimes helps out with Reuben’s business.

On the July 4, 2022 Reuben set up Reuben Owen Ltd to carry out building activities. For the record as at 31 July 2023, net assets of the company totalled £43,550, which perhaps bodes well for the young tycoon.
Divorce in the Family
In 2022, Amanda and her husband Clive Owen split after 22 years of marriage. However, Reuben still has a positive view of family life despite the separation. They’re just keep us right are mum and dad. They always have and they continue to. The pair continue to co-parent and farm together, for the sake of their kids.
