The late British politician 69-year old Amess was stabbed to death by a 25-year-old murderer who was discovered running into the church building with a knife around noon.

As per the Daily Mail, emergency services were contacted around 12:05 p.m. After arriving at the church in Eastwood Road North, Essex, paramedics attempted to resuscitate Sir David Amess for almost one hour.

However, he died about 3 p.m., stated by the paramedic.
