What is the deal with this Constance Marten?

Constance Marten is the late Queen Mother’s goddaughter through Mary Anna Marten.

Her mother, Virginie de Selliers, was a maidservant for Queen Elizabeth, and her father, Napier Marten, was a page. She was born in 1987.

In 2008, when Constance was still a college student, she became a “it girl” after being featured on the babe of the month page of the upscale magazine Tatler.

It is speculated that she used a trust fund holding several million pounds at C. Hoare & Co, the oldest private bank in the UK, to finance her time spent studying acting.
Since 2016, when she moved in with her partner Gordon, however, she has reportedly lived in seclusion.

In January, Marten’s automobile was discovered abandoned on the side of a highway, prompting a search for her whereabouts.

After their car caught fire on the M61, the two vanished.

They were last seen on January 9 in Newhaven, East Sussex, where they had taken their newborn.

Security cameras caught the masked couple abandoning the stroller in the harbor town.

A police report from before the pair’s escape said the mother had given birth in the vehicle.

On Monday, February 27, 2023, 54 days after going missing, Constance and Mark were found in Brighton thanks to a tip from a member of the public.

When authorities located the couple on a residential street at around 9:30 p.m., the infant was nowhere to be found.

Someone reported seeing Constance Marten and Mark Gordon in Stanmer Villas, Brighton, at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday,” a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police Department said at the time.

The scene was visited by Sussex Police, and the suspects were taken into custody. They’re still being held.

There has been no sign of the baby for several days, and a massive search operation has been launched.

On March 1, 2023, police said at a news conference that they had located the infant’s remains in a forested area of Brighton, close to where the couple had been arrested.

It is my very sad duty to update this afternoon, police officers investigating a wooded area close to where Constance and Mark Gordon were arrested, discovered the remains of a baby,” Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford of the Met Police said to reporters at Sussex Police headquarters.

In due time, a necropsy will be performed.

Marten has been accused of murder, trying to hide the fact that she gave birth, and trying to sway the outcome of the case.

On March 31, 2023, she and her boyfriend Gordon will be appearing in Crawley Crown Court.

Where does one find this individual known as Mark Gordon?

Convicted of rape and violence, Mark Gordon, 48, spent 20 years in a U.S. prison.

When he was 14, he attacked a woman in Florida and was subsequently incarcerated.

After completing his time in prison in Florida, he was deported back to the United Kingdom in 2010.

Gordon allegedly first met Constance the same year.
