LBC’s morning show’s presenter Steve Allen has announced he’s gone from LBC.
He’s tweeted that he’s taking a break from LBC this morning after 44 years of radio.
Steve stated: “Some news from me I would like to thank you for all your inquiries.
“My deal with LBC is due to expire shortly and, after discussions, I’m taking a step back from LBC this morning. I’d like say thank you to everyone who has listened for the past 44 years. It’s been an honor and a privilege.
A Global spokesperson confirmed to RadioToday: “Steve Allen’s contract with LBC will be up in a few days and, following talks with Steve, Steve is stepping down from LBC today.
“We thank him for his enormous contribution to commercial radio over the past 44 years, making him one of the longest-serving radio broadcasters in the UK.”
